Self Righting Bags
Ribcraft manufacture self righting systems for Rigid Inflatable Boats. This system will rapidly right the boat in the event of a capsize by inflating a Hypalon® bag located at the top of an aluminium frame.

Using the System
The self righting system is trigged using a manual activation system located on the outer face of the transom. Once activated, a mix of CO2 and Nitrogen is used to inflate the bag via a high pressure cylinder.

Construction
To insure the highest quality, Ribcraft self righting bags are made using Hypalon®, the leading material in the industry. Hypalon® has incredible resistance to abrasions, chemicals such as fuel oils, mechanical stresses, UV damage, and extreme temperatures.

Bag Fittings and Installation
The self righting bag has as standard a

• Manual inflation/deflation valve

• Pressure relief valve

• CO2 Inlet valve

• Henderson Hatch

• Fabric straps with brass eyelets

• Velcro secured cover flaps

Applications
Lifeboats, Rescue, Commercial etc. Any Rigid Inflatable Boat that's likely to encounter severe weather with the risk of inversion.
